Cooked a 21 pound turkey, made a huge batch of turkey chili/soup, five pot pies, some meringue cookies and still managed to get a walk in. Roofing fellas were slow to get here today but once they did, they worked hard. Still a bit left to do, but the old shingles are off, the new felt is down and all is in place to get it done. So many things I’m thankful for. I know I am blessed. Each day has been a particularly sweet gift and I cannot begin to tell ya how much I needed this past week. Sometimes being surrounded by love is exactly what ya need.
