We've known screen time is associated with depression. This research is dated 2017 (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5574844/) Does that mean you shouldn't be reading this on a screen right now? No. It's more likely an indication about how easy it is to fall into the trap of letting "screen time" replace other important things in our life. It means that we need to be intentional about how we foster connection..which our screens can be a tool to help or hurt. I have met amazing people and fostered wonderful and helpful relationships thanks to the existence of this technology... That doesn't happen by accident! Let's be intentional about how we use our screens to pursue BETTER. Shout out to those of you who are conscientious about how you use your technology for your Better and the Betterment of others! Keep it up!
