Society today is calling upon us to go our own way. It doesn’t matter if you’re five…fifteen…fifty. Every day we face temptations that tempt us to walk in the ways of the world…believe this…go here/there..do this/that. Our human nature can lead us astray. Our pride…independence…”this all about me stuff” can get the best of us…so much so that our testimonies are mostly conditional on the circumstances around us. God told Jonah to…go…he said…no! Little has changed in 6000 years of humanity! One day we’re rebelling the next day “Oh God help me…save me…rescue me!” We can run, but not far! What are we running from today? Why not…go where He says go…stay where He says stay… do what He says to do?! Let’s stop running and start trusting!
