Mindset: improvise, adapt, and overcome. So glad that God has my back 🙌🏻🥰🙌🏻 I am wiped. Yard work is tough any time but it’s worse in hot weather. It was a joy to be out there... the stuff needed done, sure, but what made it joyful was the motivation to get out there in the form of a neighbor and friend jumping on their rider to give me a hand. They did the lawn mowing and I weed whacked and trimmed some shrubs. So thankful for the rain, and for the bug bite free shrub trimming. Not completely done but I’ll get it eventually. The neighbor even brought me some perfectly grilled chicken. Didn’t even have to cook, but it reminded me of when my girls would always make dinner on mowing days and do sweet things like bring me water. I miss those days but I’m thankful for the tender regard always. Those memories help with the empty nest stuff. Nutrition: chicken (it was a big piece), 2 zucchini/carrot bread slices. Nutra grain bar, cheese Exercise: yard work Included an interesting take on jello. You could easily make to go finger jello with your favorite herbal tea, preworkout and water, even fruit juice. If ya use herbal tea, you might want sweetener... unless you are using it for tummy health/issues. I plan on playing with this one. Haven’t tried the recipe she used but I wouldn’t use pomegranates lol tasty but not a good fit for jello cuz of the seeds. Gelatin is great for joint health but can cause inflammation in some. You can buy plain Knox or even the jello box. You can eat them in the rain. You can eat them in a train 😁 ok I’ll quit lol Big love to ya today my better fam ♥️
