What can you do to step up your training when you really are doing all that you are able? That is my question to myself. This faithful forty, I wanna step it up but the struggle is with pain. Get moving. Keep moving. Cultivate the good and keep on stepping away from those things that hold you back. Eventually yer V02 will match up to yer age and you can step away from the negatives with the vigor of someone much younger lol. Still thinking on my goals and focus for this one. I know areas in my heart that always need improving and while that is a different kind of ‘pain’ it might be more manageable than doubling my steps 😉 (tho I am proud when I’m hitting the doubled steps more consistently) Just by walking I’m maintaining a healthy weight but I want more than that. I wanna be fit. I wanna be able to meet the challenges with grit. I’m loving the feeling of digging deep when I don’t have to, that way I’m trained to do so when I do need to. The blessings from this journey.... so many to name, but they are blessings that stay with ya long after the forty days are done. Mindset Exercise Nutrition Accountability, encouragement, challenges, and growth. I’m excited to see where the Lord and I are headed next.
