There is value in the challenge being visited in public. The peer pressure; the victory of success and the misery of defeat. It made us try harder, work harder. I don’t compare myself to other men; they have their own path and set of circumstances that are foreign to me. I know who my Creator has empowered me to be, who He says I am created to be. And I cheer others to pursue that ideal as well! I measure myself up to that man; the one God intended, that is my inspiration as the road gets shorter. I’m getting closer to that day when I will stand before my King, I want to give this body back in a way that shows that while some damage is evident and this body is kinda dog-eared, I kept the roof patched and dwelling solid to honor Him.
