As we gear up for the start of faithful forty, I’ve been thinking about my goals. With a bout of illness throwing me down this month, I’m ready to readjust. I’ve still tried walking, just nothing I could count in my walk 100 in good conscience lol. The heart is willing but the flesh she’s weak... at least when she’s nursing whatever the heck variant we on now. Hey Alex... love the shirts, my fav color is black lol if you would sponsor me I would represent here in clarksvegas. I want my shirt to play Bennett and Gabriel’s intro and outro as I walk lol. They did great! Remember, you only get out of something, what you put into it. There is no ‘wrong’ way to post. The accountability and encouragement, sharing lessons ya learn, sharing parts of your stories, praying over each other, or simply sharing a win or prayer request... sometimes just putting things into words in a safe place is all it takes to cement your goals. No one is going to pick apart your words here. I’ve been using this as a journal of sorts. Keeping in mind that my words will be here for my children long after I’m gone. Love how this has become such a powerful place for personal growth. At least it has for me. Without a doubt there is a ministry here, but I’m thinking it’s not just for those wearied by all the ‘fitness’ misinformation and hype. I’m seeing Gods hand here, bringing His people together in a unique way, for a unique purpose. At least... that’s the sense I get. If we shine bright, if we are salty.... and continue to strengthen and encourage each other in our betterment journey and interact in a way that fosters more growth; we are going to take that mindset into our families, our communities, and our church. It’s contagious in the best of ways. When the kids were knee deep into the start of whatever fib they were about to tell me I would often say... it’s your story, tell it anyway ya want it... but it better be the truth. When pilate encountered Jesus, He asked Him... truth, what is truth? From where he was standing, truth looked pretty flexible. Pilate saw that the truth looked very different from whatever perspective you might look at something. His truth, the Jews truth, the truth of the fickle mob outside his doors, and the truth of the innocent man that stood before him. What is truth? Jesus stated it plainly.... I AM Your life is a story you are telling to the universe. You can tell it any way you want to but I’m hoping that you have a solid foundation beneath you. So that when the storms of life come, you find your soul anchored in the rock that is Christ and the glory of the Lord serving as your rear guard. Your story is one God delights in and when we hit all the right notes, it lights up heaven with its beautiful tones. I’m delighting in you better fam ♥️🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 you are hitting the right notes!
