#walkingthoughts Tomorrow being the Lords day (or for some today ♥️) my thoughts linger on what a privilege and an honor it is to be able to gather with Gods people and freely worship Him. As I walked today I wondered at what that really means. At the very heart of me where His spirit dwells there is a well of unending prayer and worship and I’m not limited to a time and place to cultivate that within me, but there is something special that happens when Gods people gather. He moves among us in a way that is a delight to my soul. The more He moves, the more I respond with a fervent desire for more… more of His presence, more of this unified purpose, just more. I once told my pastor that i come to worship knowing God has something just for me and knowing that what I little I have to offer Him is paltry in comparison. I believe that so wholeheartedly that even if all he said was good morning and sat down… God would move on my heart with something just for me. My pastor never tested me on that bold statement but I wanted to let him know I was preparing my heart… I was good soil, and his time was well spent. Good soil produces good fruit and good fruit nourishes the body. You have a unique purpose in the body of Christ and your fruit… the ease within the garden of your heart… the peace God gives that begs to be shared, that’s what you bring. Your time, your talents, your prayers, sometimes a gentle good morning to a weary heart…. Your offerings. A sweet savor to our Father anytime but it moves Him when we combine our praise and gather as one. Lifted a special prayer for those in ministry ♥️
